The Woodruff-Fontaine House has long been the talk of Memphians, whether it was back in 1871 when Amos Woodruff built the picturesque home along, what was known then as “Millionaires Row,” or today, when people are exchanging lore about the artistically-detailed structure that is far less haughty in context than it was back in its prime; that the French Victorian designed house is haunted.
